Biography
Renato Ambrosone was born in Aversa (CE), Italy, in 1998. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering at the Università degli Studi della Campania in 2019. In 2021, he earned a master’s degree in Computer Networks and Cloud Computing at Politecnico di Torino, graduating with the highest score of 110/110. His thesis, titled “Autonomous and Softwarized Management of Disaggregated Open Optical Networks,” focused on innovative management solutions for optical networks.
He is currently pursuing a PhD at Politecnico di Torino within the Optical Communications (OptCom) research group. His research concentrates on the orchestration and control of disaggregated and partially disaggregated optical networks, with a particular focus on leveraging digital twins to enhance network management and performance.
Renato is also passionate about improvisational theater and running.
