Mashboob Cheruvakkadu Mohamed

Mashboob Cheruvakkadu Mohamed was born in India. He received the Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), India (2008-12) and Master of Technology in Opto-electronics and Laser Technology from International School of Photonics, CUSAT, India (2016-18). He was granted Photonics Society of India (PSI) award for securing University First rank in MTech(2018) and Satish John Memorial Award by International School of Photonics, CUSAT for the best MTech Project(2018). He was granted Scholarship for BTech Studies by Govt of India and he had secured Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Fellowship India for M Tech studies. Previously he had worked as Senior SW QA Engineer with Systems R&D, Infinera India and as Technical Specialist in Nokia Solutions and Networks in India. Overall, he has worked as Engineer for 8.5 years.

He is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical, Electronic and Communication Engineering at Politecnico di Torino with the Optical Communications (OptCom) research group.
