Mashboob Cheruvakkadu Mohamed

Mashboob Cheruvakkadu Mohamed is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical, Electronic, and Communication Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, where his research focuses on ” applications of AI & ML in optical communication networks,” in collaboration with Infinera. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), India, graduating with distinction in 2012. He also earned a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Opto-electronics and Laser Technology from the International School of Photonics, CUSAT, in 2018, with distinction.

Mashboob Cheruvakkadu Mohamed has received multiple prestigious awards for academic excellence, including the Photonics Society of India (PSI) Award for securing the University First Rank in his M.Tech program and the Prof.Satish John Memorial Award for the best M.Tech Thesis. He was also a winner of Government of India scholarship for his undergraduate studies and the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Fellowship for his post-graduate studies.

With over 8.5 years of industry experience, Mashboob Cheruvakkadu Mohamed has held significant positions, including Senior Software QA Engineer at Infinera India’s Systems R&D division and Technical Specialist at Nokia Solutions and Networks,India. His career spans software quality assurance, optical networks, telecommunications, and photonics, where he has developed strong expertise in integrating advanced technologies to optimize network performance. Mashboob Cheruvakkadu Mohamed is known for his technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and leadership in driving innovation within the engineering and telecommunications sectors.
