Renato Ambrosone

Renato Ambrosone was born in Aversa (CE), Italy, in 1998. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering at the Universit`a degli Studi della Campania in 2019. He moved to Turin to pursue a master’s degree in Computer Networks and Cloud Computing with a thesis named ”Autonomous and Softwarized Management of Disaggregated Open Optical Networks”.

He is currently pursuing a PhD at Politecnico di Torino within the Optical Communications (OptCom) research group. His research topics concern the control of disaggregated and partially disaggregated optical networks focusing on the integration of a quality of transmission estimator.

Renato is also a runner and movies lover.
